Just getting motivated to head to the beach but a quick report prior. Yesterday while the ladies were at the spa ALL day, CJ and I ended up hanging out and swimming, playing some football and we tried to go the surf club mini-arcade which per usual was out of tokens so that was a failure but he took it fine. After that my best friend Rich and his wife who I never ever see came to pick us up and we went to Buglaoe for drink and they grabbed some lunch. We hung out for a bit then came back so CJ could work out again in the mini gym they have hear. After the ladies returned from the Ritz we got cleaned up and went back to the Ritz for dinner and some gambling. They were back on point with excellent food from Casa Nonna- the pasta was as great as always.
After dinner we got CJ another Gelato and then gambled a bit. We lost about 100 while we were all there- myself, wife and MIL- then I tucked them into bed and headed back over for a bit. And something STRANGE happened- I won some money, lol. After playing for a couple hours I decided to go home with a couple hundred extra in my pocket rather than risk another losing day.
I claimed our Palapas a few min ago and my wonderful wife is cook CJ and myself some eggs as she did not want to go out to breakfast and offered to cook it. We have dinner plans at Casa Tua tonight for a little change of scenery. Might book a UTV for tomorrow- time will tell.

Sitting on the balcony enjoying "my first drink of the night" when you take a nap the day drinking no longer counts in your total....at least that's what I tell myself anyways. Not sure what is going on for tonight yet. CJ is at a movie night over at the Ritz and will have dinner there as well. We have reservations at Casa Tua at 630 but I don't see us going and I will probably cancel at the last moment as we ate a late lunch today. Of course lunch was at the Madero bar...I had my Madero club as always and it was great...but my wifes burger tasted amazing so I may have to put that on my list soon.
We have reservations to rent a 4 person UTV for tomorrow so that will be an adventure for sure, lol. They pick us in the morning and take us to get the UTV and then we are off. We will do the tour by ourselves seeing the backside of the island etc. Hope the winds are cranking tomorrow as I see it being a warm day out on the roads touring. It will be the 1st time we have rented any type of jeep/utv since our 2nd trip back in 2001.
Time for a refill, lol
Jay, make sure you guys have some sort of face covering for your ATV adventure. A bandana or even your covid mask will work in a pinch. The amount of grit you will inhale is amazing.
