Great plan for dinner.... and if you think Manchebo (and the welcome Mojito) are nice now.... wait til you're on the beach not hearing water sport noise or tons of kids playing tomorrrow!

We were too tired to go down to Palm Beach last night so we walked over to Twist of Flavor for a lighter dinner. Bob loved his “grouper” and I had a cheese burger. It was very good. We went to Baskin Robbins for ice cream. We came back and sat on the patio for a bit and crashed early. Today is hubby’s birthday and Flag Day here so it should be a fun day. The plan is Ike’s for breakfast, beach, etc. Manchebo gave us a bottle of champagne and I have Tito’s and Bailey’s so some alcohol will be consumed! More later.

Happy Birthday Bob! I know it's a little early to ask, but how do you like Aruba so far?

We had Ike’s for breakfast this morning, it was really good. After breakfast I went down and got a palapa. We packed the beach bag and settled in our palapa. Bob noticed a camera where they have yoga classes. Of God, not the webcam! I checked online and we were just to the right, out of camera view! We stayed a few hours and went back to the room. Dinner was at Pizza Bob’s ( no meat during Lent ). We split a salad and veggie pizza. We really enjoyed it. Tomorrow we’ll go to the Palm Beach area for dinner. Bob is really enjoying Aruba. More too come!

We got a late start as we slept in. We got the same palapa so I guess it’s ours for our stay. It’s just out of webcam view and by Pega Pega. We had lunch there so I could have my Nutty Monkey. We left the beach around 3pm and I went to the pool for a bit. We decided to go down to Palm Beach for dinner. I’m sad to see all the large buildings going up and yes we could smell that smell as we road by. Bob was amazed the difference between the low rise and the high rise. It was packed! We walked around a bit and then ate at Le Petite Cafe. We had fun cooking our filets on the stone. After we went to the Hyatt to play a few slots. No winners here but it was fun. We got a cab back and had Bailey’s on the patio. Bob is glad we’re staying at Manchebo where it’s quiet and small. I hope new owners don’t change it too much.
