The hostess enthusiastically greeted us by name when I asked if she could accommodate us she told me that even if they were busy she would find a place for us. It’s so hard to describe the level of service here I know I’ve never experienced it anywhere else. After we placed our order, she stopped back at our table and handed me a handwritten note saying how she enjoyed meeting and talking with us, wishing us once again a happy anniversary. I thought I would cry and that is so not me!!! It’s very humbling.

We we are now out on the balcony, listening to live music, catching up on the forum, email etc. I really should be packing but guess I can do that in three morning.
I really hope Manchebo lives up to your expectations....It's a different vibe.... but really wonderful folks... and a fantastic beach!

I really enjoyed the Manchebo last trip. It will be a different experience but by no means less of an experience. Just love the beach there and I have missed the waves. Also it’s not an Aruba vacation without that coconut French toast.

Hi Peg (and everyone else on this forum since this is my first post!). I'm really enjoying your trip report, especially since you are heading down to Manchebo tomorrow. I will be going there for the first time in August (have stayed at Marriott Stellaris a few times). Looking forward to hearing all about it. I'm so excited to be going and can't wait to hear more about it.
Also have to tell you all how much I'm enjoying reading the threads on this forum. You are all so friendly and helpful! Hope to join in more now that I've "broken the ice" and done my first post!
Happy anniversary to you and your hubby Peg!

Your words describe exactly why we LOVE the Ritz the way we do. Words can't describe their level of service and how good it is to experience it. I think many thought I was crazy or exaggerating a bit...nope, the ladies and gents at the Ritz are second to none!

LisaGrn…… Welcome to the forum.....! Nice to have you here. We'll be staying at Manchebo for our 4th year in a row after staying on Palm Beach for many years. For us, it's all about the beach...! Quiet, uncrowded, no watersports noise and just a really nice property!

Welcome to the forum Lisa! You will love the Manchebo. We stayed there last trip and I would describe it as checking all the boxes. The people who work there are just great. We are headed over today for a 6 night stay. Now, keep posting and get to know everyone!!

    Day 4, Friday
Can’t believe it’s time to move but check out isn’t until noon so no big rush. The biggest decision of the morning is whether or not to schlep the bottle of champagne, actually Prosceco to the Manchebo or leave it for housekeeping. Will it still taste good if I have to rechill it? Any thoughts, votes?
