You missed a great time CP. The food and company were awesome.

Sorry we missed last night, we ran into a couple from home and spent the evening with them. Our flight is Tuesday afternoon, so we'll be enjoying the beach as much as possible the last few days.

It was lots of fun and I'm now a Bavaria German fan! We followed Peg and Robin's recommendations and both had chicken snitzel. Delicious!
Just had breakfast at Ike's with Chuck, Patti, Peg and Tom. We're now all heading to our respective palapas for a beach day. Plenty of room if anyone cares to stop by! Think we'll probably just have a late lunch at Pega Pega and just hang out on the beach for sunset and cocktails. A totally lazy day.
P and I have our final massages and body wraps scheduled at Spa del Sol tomorrow morning and then Lobster Night at the Chophouse with Glenn and Donna. Will probably need to fit in some final shopping in between. There's still a lot of room in the suitcase!
Sadly, Tuesday the fun ends and we fly home...It's been such a perfect vacation.

That coconut French toast is so good and we had good company!! This has been a wonderful trip. Heading home tomorrow so I have to get in a few more hours of sun and then off the casino.

... great breakfast visit with yo folks this morning... and now we're in the 'crying room' waiting for our flight. We had a super visit with lots of beach time and got to meet some great new friends.....! I'm leaving with just a tad more money than I came with.... the casino was tough on me this year. At least I'm leaving with zero credit card balances.... and all of our room charges were paid in cash too.... so I guess that's all a win!

Oh.... no..... our flight just landed and we're watching all those expectant faces walk by in the entry lane toward the escalators that take you up for the downward stairs to immigration..... checking out now!

Quiet, last day before we head home on Monday. Just hung out, drank and ate the food that was left in the condo. I was so great seeing and meeting everyone in person. Such a fun, wonderful group of people.

Thanks for a great day on the beach, Robin. Gary and I had so much fun at Manchebo beach last week that I think we'll plan to go there again today. Now we know the routine and look forward to Pega-Pega for lunch and today I will definately try one of those Mochitos (or whatever those drinks were called).

Priscilla and I finished off our amazing vacation in Aruba Monday night with dinner at The Chophouse with my Canadian buddy, Glenn, and his lovely lady, Donna. It was so wonderful to finally meet them and we had a great time. Food, wine and company were the best, not to mention having Harold serves us like the consummate pro he is.
Alas, Tuesday saw us bidding farewell to the wonderful staff at Manchebo and heading to the airport for the flight home. Uneventful and we are both home (me to CT, P to Baltimore) and already texting and chatting about what a great time we had.

Arubacon has come to an end but the virtual memories will live on. Thank you so much to those who took part in our little imaginary vacation and I hope everyone got some enjoyment out of our antics. If it brought even one smile to your face during these difficult times, then mission accomplished! Thanks again, Andrea and Walt, for indulging my silly idea for a thread! Who knows, maybe some day we can make Arubacon a reality! :-)
