Ahhhhh a beautiful day. Pretty windy too.
We hung out at the pool, mostly due to laziness.
We spent the better part of the day at the pool. 9a-2p

At 2 we met up with our friend Janet for a visit and then met up with Bully and family at
The Fish House for an early dinner…that lasted almost 3 hrs. Not slow service, just a ton of chatter and a year’s worth of catching up.
We had a variety of dinners. Paul and I had fish tacos (OMG good), Bully had whole red snapper, Judella and her sister Jeanette had conch stew and Kevin had chicken.
We all ate very well and enjoyed our meals, company and the atmosphere.

We played at the Marriott casino and broke even. Again that is a win.

Tomorrow, we are hoping that the lazy factor is gone and we make it to Reflexions.

I have a few moments in between dinner and deciding what the plan is for tonight.
We are thinking that we are leaning towards staying in tonight…I have some diamond dotting and Snowman card coloring to do.
I am also FREEZING. I turned our airco up to 78 and am still freezing.
I see Paul from the corner of my eye, heading over to the thermostat to drop the temp.
If he values his life, he will tread carefully.

We spent from 9 til about 2 @ Reflexions Beach Bar @ Surfside.
We had 2 lounges with pads and covers and an umbrella.
I believe that it came to less than $28 for those 2 lounges and shade.
In my mind I was thinking that prices had gone up considerably in a year, but duh…..it was priced in florin.
Walt and Pam joined us and we had a nice time vegetating on the beach, floating like manatees (well me anyway) and then had a good lunch at their beach side restaurant.
    It was outdoor dining.

Every eating out experience for us this vacation has been OUTSIDE.

We left the beach ran back to Lacabana to shower and then a stop to Alto Vista chapel……….then to Superfoods where we intended to make quick run thru the store but we extended our visit just a little as we were coveting the fancy pastries. I did feel a little drool running down the side of my mouth LOL

We had a drink at the pool bar here for happy hour and then opted to split a ½ roasted chicken dinner from LaCabana. It was good. It was plenty big to split…..we had a big lunch at noon and we were not terribly hungry. Way too much food today.
Dessert later will be the pastry that we bought at SuperFood.

Eating in and very relaxed outdoor restaurant/bar dining is working well for us.

Nice photos. Those pastries look awesome! Your vacation is sounding pretty relaxed. Have you spent much time in the Glitz?

Very nice. Never been to reflections but since I don't rent a car, probably not a good idea to go as the cab drivers would not take someone in a bathing suit.

we have not been impressed with the Glitz.
the doorman/bouncer is a rude arrogant man.
we are required to sign in, get temp taken and then he scans our licenses and then he asked for another ID.
all I had with me was my AMEX card and when he went to photo that I said NO Flipping way.
no other casino is asking for licenses or any additional id.
so I am avoiding the jerk.

OMG, no way would I let someone photo my credit card! That’s just crazy. It’s too bad though as the Glitz is right there.

Unbelievable. I'd complain to the front desk of the resort. Who know if they know what he is doing or not.

Dam.. he must think some people aren't playing with a full deck.
When we went there they did not ask for second ID.
Casino wasn't friendly anyways. we walked in and out without playing.
