At least all of those things are easily replaced.

The waves I grew up playing in are like that and still love it but, I won't go in if there is a strong undertow. I don't go in the ocean wearing sunglasses or hats. I've been knocked down and that's not fun anymore.

I thought you had wonderful company too

We were rewarded with a very nice view of the pool and lagoon and open ocean. It’s perfect!

lunch was with Andrea and Paul at the Dutch Pancake House, one of my favorite spots. Our pancakes were outstanding! We also had wonderful company!

Since the room was not ready we headed over to the Seaport Casino and later the Crystal. I liked the do over at Seaport. Lots of new machines and friendly staff. Tom did quite well, hitting $1000 on his first machine and I think it was his first spin! I was just feeding the machines but finally hit a nice bonus that put me up again. It was time to move on. The room was still not ready so we grabbed the shuttle over to the Crystal. Again we both were up and down but finally ended on an up note.

    Day 8. Tuesday

Once we’re at the. Renaissance I know our vacation is winding down. Tomorrow will be our last full day. Today, at least for me, will be about the pool. Tom will probably head over to the casino early.

I was so looking forward to the Winter Wonderland at Renaissance Marketplace. It was supposed to start yesterday BUT they are not even close to being set up. I doubt it will be ready before we leave. One of the business owners told me they were way behind schedule as all the focus has been on building the large Bar, It’s Five O’clock Somewhere. She also says that no one is happy about it. It’s her understanding that the wooden sheds will be permanent and it’s felt that this will impact the foot traffic by their businesses.

I did see some new rather interesting signage at the marketplace yesterday

I’ve been hearing about it. My only worry is having to brush the car off at Logan Express. May be better to just take a taxi home from the airport and get the car in the morning. In the meantime I think I’ll just enjoy the beach. Bet you’re glad you’re in the condo and don’y have to shovel!

Hopefully they don't plow your car in when they are clearing the parking lot.

It happened to us once, but hubby had a shovel in the car and most of it had melted so it was easy to remove.

If it’s messy it’s easy enough to take a taxi from the airport. Logan express is just 15 minutes away so we could pick it up in the morning. Can’t imagine dealing with clearing snow on a travel day. Our neighbors always shovel for us so we are fortunate!
