Did some laundry, finally finished the insurance reduction course(I gave up reading/watching videos and just clicked through when the times ran down and still had a 95 one the test), visited with friends that arrived the other day, had some discussions related to the building next door and a few other things happening on the property in the AM. Also watched the prep work for the second new elevator in Eagle-Monday they start to dismantle the old elevator. Our building we be started the following week.

After lunch, I tried getting info for flights to Germany. Our former exchange student is getting June 3 in Frankfurt. For some reason I could put in dates and to and from on Lufthansa's site, but was denied access to the actual flight options. Thank you Setar. I played around on Expedia without an issue and American. Makes no sense. Stu has a VPN and had no issues. We just waiting to hear back from the groom to make sure our dates make sense. We would be there about a week with travel.

I headed to the pool around 230 and read for awhile. I got called by the kitchen company and had to come up to the condo to check Stu's schedule to go look at the layout plan on Monday. Spoke with our friends for awhile and then came back and made dinner and watched the sunset.

Around 12:20 this morning, I am awoken by a fire alarm-I roll over, open one eye and realize there are no flashing lights, so not our building. But it keep going off, so I get up and go out on the balcony and realize it is coming from Phase 2, but the way the sound bounces off the buildings, I could even tell which one. Just as I was thinking, maybe I should throw on a robe and hat and go see what is happening, it was turned off. Stu slept through it, but I heard several sliding doors in my building close. I did find out what happened today and let's just say, I hate stupid, ignorant people.

Just did my normal stuff in the am and we were at the pool by 11ish. It was a beautiful day. Spent time talking with one of our favorite guards. It is his bday. He and his twin brother is between our boys in age. Lots of dragonflies around our building. Made dinner and watched the sunset. The sky was really pretty tonight.

It’s funny about the dragonflies. Some years we would see many, many of them and other years nothing. Usually the ones we saw were not colorful. We don’t see them much here at home but when we had our place in NH we would often see the blue ones.

We've had the same problem with Air Canada in the past - the VPN solved it. It's not Setar... it's the airline's site restrictions. AC put a message on the page saying that we couldn't book flights but I can't remember the reason why.

The day was beautiful as Robin stated...yard dry when we woke....no down pours during the day...only white puffy clouds and the sun set right into the ocean! VPN is our bestie...my NH bank 'says' I am not blocked when using Setar but I always am...switch to VPN and all is good. Robin, Stupid people should be locked up....if you start a crusade count me in...lol!

I always use a VPN while on the island, for many reasons. I use NORD VPN as a server, and also have a VPN configured natively on our router at home.
