Long day. We were up at 430 because we did not know how busy the airport would be, but it wasn't bad except they checked both my carryons(I actually gate checked one). We hung in the lounge before going to pick up something for lunch and head to the gate. Lots of families traveling.

We had full flight except for 2 or 3 three seats. Boarding took awhile with a bunch of little ones and some who had no idea that they had to sign their passport. They had to make an announcement several times to make sure all passports had a signature including the kids. We left the gate a few minutes early, but had to sit and wait for new route plans to avoid bad weather. We arrived about 10 minutes late, which was a few minutes after 2 pm but we were the the only plane in immigration. It did take time to get the luggage as they were still off loading a NY flight and one from Bogata. The line to leave was very long and they were scanning luggage, but as were were about 15 families away, they shut down the scanners(yes, I was happy about that). We were in the condo around 3:10 after riding in the new elevator which just passed inspection today. They still have some trim work outside of it to do and we still have to pick a permanent floor, but I was happy about that. We unpacked the owners closet and started doing what needs to be done-for me-it was getting the kitchen organized.

We changed and drove over to TOF for dinner. They had grouper specials with their ToF mashed potatoes. I had lemon and butter and Stu had it with tomatoes and cheese. We shared the nutella mousse and headed back to car as it started to drizzle. It did look like it rained today.

We returned and it was freezing in the condo. We stepped outside on the balcony and met our neighbors until Sunday. Like us they are Jewish and we invited them to come over and light the menorah with us. After they left, we continued working on getting things done. The only thing I have left is to put out the family pictures and a few odds and end. My back is killing me and I just took another muscle relaxer and am very happy I brought a heating pad with me this year.

We are going to bed soon as we have lots of grocery shopping to do tomorrow and we are sure it will be busy.
