We had our PCR Covid tests Friday at 1:00 pm at CVS in Cinti - was told 1-2 days for results. Ken's result came in Saturday evening, mine came in Sunday morning 4:00 am - both NegativeWe flew out of Columbus Monday morning at 6:25 am, connector in Charlotte, arrived in Aruba a little after 2 pm. Things were easy and were well organized at both Columbus and Aruba airports. Once in Aruba it took us about 45 minutes showing our print outs of the green checkmarks and Negative Covid results, and picking up luggage. Picked up our SUV and then off to the house we rented through Airbnb. We dropped off our luggage and went to Ling and Son's for groceries. We were both amazed at how well things went from getting the testing to arriving in Aruba. Very impressed with the airport customs and staff.
Tuesday we chilled at the house, enjoyed the pool, and relaxed. Late in the day we went to the Lighthouse and Alto Vista Chapel for pics - only a few people at both locations. Stopped at Dunn's Beach for more photo taking - only saw 2 people there.
Today we spent the morning and early afternoon at Eagle Beach - so beautiful and enjoyable, ocean was a bit chilly and felt great, so clear! Cruise ships were in today but not many people were at Eagle Beach - folks well spaced.
Tomorrow we plan to go to Baby Beach and then see what else happens. Ken and I both have felt very safe here so far - we are a bit boring - we both love eating at home and grilling, etc. so we aren't planning to be around large groups of people. Ling's was awesome as well, you get your temp taken and use hand lotion before entering - they have the floor marked for which way to go, and proper spacing, we felt pretty comfortable there.
I'll update more tomorrow.
Andrea, I'll email you a few pics if you would please post for me.
