I am excited to get to enjoy more Aruba. The start of your trip is perfect. We are always at the airport that early because if you wait any later it is terribly crowded and takes forever to get through. Manchebo must be absolutely beautiful. I know that CP loves it so it must be very nice. Enjoy and keep us posted.

So, the morning was spent on the beach. The water is positively glorious; no drop, easy in and out with gentle waves. For lunch we wandered over to Pega Pega. Such a fun spot. The Bartenders and staff seem to enjoy their jobs. One of the guests had a birthday so they all broke out in song, blasting happy birthday music as a parade of people came over to the guest with a slice of cheesecake with a huge sparkler stuck in it. Everyone applauded!!

So now I didn’t want to overdo staying in the sun so what to do? Head to a casino of course. We checked out the Stellaris. Played the 3D Sphinx but couldn’t get a bonus so moved over to the new Wheel of Fortune and got a nice hit. Since we just got there I didn’t want to cash out an leave so I played on their money for a few hours. It was nearing time to head back and I decided on one last machine, the honeybee. It buzzed and buzzed around until I got a nice hit putting me up over $300. It was time to head back to Manchebo.

So so what will we do this evening, not sure. We weren’t back to the room 2 minutes and Tom laid down and fell asleep. Still snoring!!!

I'm glad that you are enjoying Manchebo. In my opinion, it's one of the best gems in Aruba. Years ago, they had those signs on all of the palapas. It's been two or three years since we've stayed there, but I noticed that the signs were gone. I figured that was in compliance with the govt. regulations. I'm surprised that they are back.

Nice to hear you had a fun time at Pega Pega. The last time we were there you could hear a pin drop, and there were a number of people at the bar. The bartender that night acted like she was doing you a favor to get you a drink. We were there during happy hour and she charged us normal price on two drinks too. Last trip it seemed like we were on a happy hour hunt and had crossed them off of our list. Maybe we'll give it another try, as we've been there many times before. Nice casino wins too. You'll have to give the wife some lessons...

I would say give them another try. There was a really good crew today, joking with the guests, each other and dancing around the bar. Everyone was in good spirits. It made you feel relaxed, and well, happy!
