She wanted nothing to do with a moving car, lol. She is feeling just fine today with no hangover.

I used to do that but it didn't leave enough room for the beer. So now I just drink vodka and have one ice cube for each shot of Goose...Same but different

I feel for you Jay. I think it was like 20 years ago I was staying at the Divi Golf and they had one of those Manager parties with 2 hours open bar. Well drinks but they do kick in if you have a dozen plus. Ms Daisy lost her sea legs and sort of wobbled to the ground. There were 2 nurses there that helped me. They called security who came in a golf cart to ride us back to the room. Except our room was on the third story and no elevators in that building. They got a wheel chair and me, the 2 nurses, security guy rolled her up to the third floor. The bed was really high up so it took us all to lift her to the bed. Yup the adventures of driving Ms Daisy!

Thanks Jay! It’s funny but I just had an email from someone at the Ritz asking if we needed any reservations etc. They certainly are service oriented!!

That's because hangovers are not allowed in Aruba - in my opinion. I had one of those nights on our 2nd trip to Aruba. Since our first trip was cut short due to a medical emergency at home, I hit it hard when we got to return. By 7pm on the first day I was well on my way to a massive hangover but informed my boyfriend all I needed "was some food to sop up the alcohol". He obliged by walking me to the buffet and getting me some food. It was then back to the room and to bed. He was fearful that I was going to wake up with a massive hangover. Nope! Up and ready to go the next morning. And of course, he tells that story every time Aruba comes up in conversation! We'll see how this trip goes

Last night was a special night. We ate dinner at the Ritz of course and had their amazing spaghetti and probably the best meatballs I have ever had! After dinner we met our good friend Sebastian that we don't see nearly enough of. We met up at the Divi bar and hung out for several hours enjoying drinks. Sebastian is one of the big reasons we fell in love with the Ritz- he "adopted" our family and helped create our intense love of everything Ritz in Aruba.

After catching up for many hours I tucked the family into bed and made a small donation over at the Ritz casino. Up early this morning relaxing. We may head over to the ritz and do an official breakfast today but time will tell.
