Yes casino, lol. Being up 700 after at the end of it all was excellent. Last night was a typical night for us. We drank and ate over at the Ritz per usual. I needed my pasta fix...it never gets old. We enjoyed a nice salad with dinner as well before enjoying a few drinks on the balcony listening to some music. I tucked the family into bed and went out for about 3 hours. Most of that time I was down just about 300 but kept winning my last 25 bet and turned it around starting at about 11pm and went on a heater and when I had enough for 2 purple chips I knew my job was done and I should get some sleep. Years ago I just would have kept going...actually I think that was last year but who is counting, lol.

Off to the beach to set up our chairs for the day.

I am guessing that the death battle was "casino related"

    $700 up is awesome.

I love having a thick wallet after a night at the casino.

Quick recap of yesterday. We spent the entire day on the beach and it was just perfect. We played volleyball, football and some soccer and did a ton of swimming. Our son crashed hard after the beach and had to be woken up so we could head out to dinner lol.

Dinner was a BLT and just amazing. We had the filet, baked potato and a couple of amazing salads. After dinner we watched the fireworks from the Divi bar while enjoying a couple of beverages. The fireworks were really nice. After tucking the family into bed I headed out to do some gambling, or should I say losing. I gave back to much of my previous nights winnings but I am still ahead for the trip so I can't complain.

We are thinking about doing the jolly pirates tour today but time will tell. I think one thing that is not in my plans is a ton of day drinking....I may give this old body a rest today but who knows. Off to claim our palapa for the day.

Yesterday was another great Aruba day minus the beating at the casino last night. We did our typical beach morning but did not have lunch at Madero as we usually do. We headed for a walk and actually grabbed some lunch at the little shop at the Surf club....I enjoy their sandwiches. After lunch we let CJ play in the game room for a bit then headed back to our stomping grounds.

Last night we ate left over ritz meals for dinner so it was excellent of course. We then headed out to the casino while CJ went to movie night. It started bad and only got worse with probably my worst daily beating of my career, lol. The only good thing that comes from getting your butt kicked is a good nice sleep after going broke, lol.

Today we are going to head downtown for some shopping. CJ has some allowance money saved up and wants to shop. Tonight I need to run back out and pick up CJs uniform for camp on Monday- I cant wait!!!

    Time for some breakfast.

Jay do you notice an excitement about the women's soccer event tomorrow.........or as Arawak mentioned, not much interest due to it being a women's match?

Have fun. Both you and CP need to get back on a winning streak.

Yesterday was another fun day. We went downtown shopping. Its been 23 years since we spent any real time downtown and I have to say we really enjoyed the vibe. We did some shopping, CJ found a nice Real Madrid shirt that was thankfully half price, lol. After shopping and touring a bit downtown we walked over to Lucys and had a couple of shots....NOPE I did not to the scorpion shot.

After going downtown we went back and had lunch at Madero. Thats when the Madero "team" presented CJ with a Brazil hat...they remembered he loved them from last world cup last year and wanted him to have the hat for todays Brazil/Peru game that happens at 4pm. So thoughtful! Thanks Abraham, Dwayne, Bonny and Lina!

One note....the Harbor house is doing NOTHING at all- I asked if they had been working on the place and she laughed. Dinner was awesome of course...more pasta from casa nonna- it never gets old.

I tucked the family into bed around 9pm and gambled for just about 2 hours. I battled after being down a bit to rally and walk away plus 400 which really helped after the beating the previous night.

Off to grab my palapa and I wish I could snag my soccer bar seats as well but they are not open yet...that said I will walk by and if people start sitting early so will we.
