Dewane met us at the pier, Tristan and Captain Anthony were waiting for us on the boat. Left out toward Savaneta. Once in the channel, the sails were hoisted and we sailed south. The crew was awesome, friendly and fun, but not over the top. Got caught in a rain shower, we stayed up top others went down below. It lasted less than 10 minutes. Sailed a while longer when we ran into another shower. This time we went below also. After 10-15 minutes we went back up top. Tristan served some snacks. Boat was turned around and headed back toward Oranjestad. Seas seemed calmer, sun came out and it was a beautiful sail. It was a fun trip.

Went to Kibaima Grill after sailing. I had a pepperoni pizza, it was good. Sis had fettuccine Alfredo and said it was good. Guys had burgers and thought they were good. Brought back dessert for breakfast tomorrow.

It has been unusually rainy this year. Sorry you got caught in it. Hopefully, the rain is done for today.

Rain shower early, no coffee on deck. Rest of the day was gorgeous! We had our dessert for breakfast! Chocolate cake, carrot cake and tiramisu were all very good. We met friends who are staying at Divi Phoenix and ate at Pure Ocean for lunch. After lunch we walked around the grounds and up to see their accommodations. Stopped at Super Foods for “real” milk and a few things. Should not need to go to Super Foods anymore unless we just want to.

Beautiful morning for coffee on the deck. Did 2 loads of laundry (darks & lights). Walked down the beach a little way went in the water. You can walk out a long way. Sat in the sun for a little while. Showered then read until time to go to Old Man & Sea. It was a beautiful night for dinner on the beach. The entrance was full of lush green plants. We were immediately seated and the dog, Floppy came right to my chair and laid down. Our server Daniela was awesome. Drinks were perfectly made. We all had surf & turf. The steak was perfectly cooked and we got a good size lobster tail, also perfectly cooked. Hubby kept sneaking Floppy small pieces of steak (I miss ours dogs back home). Floppy would go from table to table when the main course was served. She didn’t beg, just sat quietly hoping someone would notice her. For dessert we shared the chocolate cake, heavenly! We returned to the condo to chat, iPad and watch our granddaughter’s softball game via the GameChanger app.
