Your dinner sounds lovely. We have yet to make it to Old Man and the Sea. I guess because we never rent a car. The Aruba dogs are so mellow and they definitely know how to get dinner samples!!

In Aruba, I love it when eating outdoors and a dog visits.
We were at OMATS many years ago when it first opened.
What I remember most, was the hand painted china that the owner had done piece by piece.
Did you notice if the dinner plates were especially beautiful?

Glad all is well there and thank you for sharing!!

Sounds like a glorious Aruba day. Fun in the sun and in the water followed by a delicious dinner. We’ve never been to that restaurant either. Glad it was wonderful and thanks for sharing your experience.

everything about your day/evening sounds wonderful! love the fact that you can walk way out in the water. I love the name of the restaurant and the dog's name Floppy. Floppy sounds like she has a great life in Aruba

Tried to have coffee on the deck, but a brief rain shower kept me inside. A bit later the sun was out and I enjoyed a light breakfast. We went to the Ostrich Farm for the Farmer’s Market. Bought a necklace for our dog/house sitter, some salt scrub for and hubby bought some hot petter jelly. After that we headed to Rum Reef. Had a really nasty watermelon/vodka/amaretto drink. The calamari was rubbery. The grouper ceviche was pretty good. We then drove around baby beach and over to Rodgers Beach to see the mosaic “stair case”. After that we stopped at Kamini Kitchen, just had drinks. Went to O’Niels for supper. Guys had escargot for an appetizer, both said it was good. I had the grouper filet, really good. Back to condo to watch sunset, but clouds blocked it.

Wow sounds like a full day. We like O'Neils too. Might stick with beers if we check out Rum Reef. Like to try that pool there. Much construction going on next yo Baby Beach for new Secrets Hotel? We are enjoying your trip reports.

the Secrets construction so far is a few stories of steel and nothing else.
unsure if construction has stopped or is on a pause.

we stopped at Rum Reef a few trips ago and we just ordered soda.
    the pool there is terrific.

thank you for sharing your adventures here.
