Good morning Laura, and everyone else,

Great to read your daily TR's. It feels like we are there with you.

You mentioned you were in downtown O'stad. How was that? The pink stone bench outside Little Switzerland is where you'll usually find me on any weekday morning when we are there. I feel badly for your taxi driver and kudos to you for generously tipping her.

I hope your sunburn is starting to ease. While many remedies may have been suggested here, the easiest one is still the best; stay out of the sun for two or three days! Hopefully your heel has started to clear up as well.

    Dinner plans for this evening?

    Have a fantastic day Laura.

    Cheers!

Sugar bread. Ever hear of it? I had not. I was reaching for raisin bread at Super Food bakery the other day and saw sugar bread out if the corner if my eye. I dropped the raisin and put the sugar in my cart.

Been making sugar bread toast. It is evil!! I am ashamed to admit I only have a few pieces of bread left. Granted it's. Ot pre-sliced and I may be having thick slices of toast.

Oh my goodness Laura, and I do mean goodness.

Sugar bread has just been put on our Aruba grocery list for next year, second from the top. Sorry, Droste chocolate still occupies top spot on our list.

I have to ask, do you put anything like jam or peanut butter on your sugar bread toast? It just sounds so wonderful.

Oh that sugar bread sounds incredible. I love when you find new products at the grocery store. Have you come across Boterkoek? It’s an almond flavor Dutch butter cake and positively delicious. Good for breakfast.

SuperFood's bakery and bread area..............I could just pull up a chair!!
Try the Sugar Bread for French toast!!
We had it for dinner one night last Nov in Aruba.

Super Food also has a delicious chocolate pound cake.
It tastes especially good .....butter lightly, and drop in the fry pan.
Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
