I've driven the new highway twice the full length and sometimes use part of it. It is well used, especially by the locals. I have found that going through town(even crossing the street there) and my class on rt. 4 is so much quicker because there is less traffic. Getting in and out of Price Smart is easier because a lot of the traffic uses the highway.

Our wahoo is in the freezer. We brought home lots of leftovers from the restaurant. Your sauce sounds good!

have you driven on the new highway much?

wahoo is one of my favorites......I do it on a grilling pan with a bit of a sauce/glaze of olive oil, garlic, lemon juice and cajun spice (only a little)

Just sitting around while they are fixing our shower doors. We are seriously thinking about replacing them next year with sliding doors because we have to pay to have them adjusted every year because they leak. The plastic pieces that go on the bottom and side of the glass doors are going and it is very difficult to find replacements here. Today is also fire extinguisher inspections-we leave them outside our door, they take them and recharge or replace if necessary. This is now done 2x a year.

We have also been texting/emailing the boys. David drove down to DC and went to the impeachment proceedings yesterday on his day off. I am surprised he got in and can't wait for the details. The company Paul works for is going public tomorrow. He has been with them for about 6 years and is one of 6 VPs. He had the honor of being invited to go to NY to be part of the large group representing the company on that 7 story tower at the NASDAQ for the ringing of the opening bell tomorrow morning as they IPO. We will be watching it live on our computers tomorrow morning. He said he isn't sure if we will see him because of the large group that will be there. All of it is so exciting!

Thanks for all the posts! Great to see Stu caught some fish. Maybe we will consider the Driftwood this trip. Looks like they gave you a good amount of fish. That has been a complaint on several posts, that the boats in Aruba, give you a filet for the road and they keep the rest. We love reading your daily life chores in Aruba. Hope to see you guys and Hatteras for drink in February.

This morning was so exciting! Setar does not have CNBC, so we streamed the IPO on our computers from the Nasdaq site. I did some screen shots. He was in the second row almost center. Then he sent me a picture that was on the screen outside on the Nasdaq building in Times Square and you can see him with his huge toothy grin. I added two pictures to the link.

lol. Not quite, but very exciting for him and his coworkers. He has been sending pictures though out the day.

Then our younger son informs me he was chosen to work the Celine Dion concert as an EMT.

Friday: The morning was spent on the computer waiting and watching everything related to my son and the IPO. He texted us several times during the day. The excitement was real. I can't wait to talk to him tomorrow. After lunch, I headed down to the pool and talked with my neighbor above me and her friend for awhile then Stu joined us. I had started a big pot of chili in the am, so we had chili on the balcony for dinner and just read and watched tv in the evening.

Saturday: Stu worked this morning while I worked on labeling pictures I had scanned from old photo albums last year and we headed to the pool before lunch. Spent some time talking to some of the regulars and a new couple who arrived today who had been brought down to the pool by our upstair neighbors friend. Her sister had booked everything but were on a later flight and they had no idea what condo they were in. We gave them some as where to get lunch and drinks. They left their stuff with the neighbor's friend. They then hung with us until their family arrived. Then our other friends came off the beach and the six of us just talked and laughed until 6 we were all went in for dinner. Just hanging this evening. Tomorrow is hubby's b-day, so whatever he wants to do we do.
