Sounds like a stressful day. I sent you a pm this morning but you probably haven't had time to see it.

Yes, it was a little crazy today. Much more stressful for my friend and her cousins. Her cousin is sore most probably from the seatbelt, but refuses to get checked out.

Dinner at Papiamento was lovely. We had a bottle of sparking wine. I had the tenderloin steak with Gorgonzola au gratin which was perfectly cooked. Stu had grouper Almondine. I had the chocolate Creme Brulee for dessert because you need some type of chocolate on Valentine's Day. Every lady received a red rose. The lighting is much nicer than in the pictures I added to the album.

Our wonderful security guard gave her some good info while we were at the pool yesterday. I told her I'd come up and help her make some calls in the am. Went up three times, but she didn't answer because they had been calling her trying to dictate but using the info from the guard, she didn't back down to the insurance company. Finally they arranged to pick her up at 230 and take her to pay the deductible(nothing happens until you pay) and get her a car. She wanted it brought to her and they said no. We agreed I'd go with her, but first we went to the pool because she needs to do some PT and needed help entering the pool. After lunch I headed upstairs to wait. After several calls, they finally showed up here at 345 with all the paper work and the car-we didn't have to go anywhere. I helped her get used to the car and then the insurance company calls me back and says they forgot to do some of the a paperwork. I just came back up from helping with that. The insurance pretty much drove us crazy today, but I did learn some valuable information I hope I never have to use. It was also a distraction from bad news we heard from home today about a very close friend, who is more like family than a friend. Hopefully what I read online about what he has is true and he'll be fine. We are headed to Papimento for dinner.

There were families there too, but the bigger tables were in the back and behind us. It seemed like the older people were closer to the pool, then those around our age, then the younger ones behind us.

Saturday hubby and I headed to the pool for a few hours. Our friends who were at Oceania for 4 weeks were going to be leaving Saturday. After they headed in to shower, finish packing, and check out, we also went in to get ready. Stu went over to help them get their things after they texted-some where going home, we are storing some and their leftover food was staying with us. We went to Local Store for lunch-they loved it, then to find the house they may be staying in next year. It is really very tucked away and then to the airport. I figured with no ships in, it would be easy through town. Well, it was until we got near the roundabout near Surfside and then they had the street blocked setting up for the Lightening Parade(this was before 3 pm). We finally got there and said our sad goodbyes. The next stop, a bit late due to the detours, was the Ren to have drinks with Hatteras and Crimms. We had a great time and hopefully next year we can all get together for dinner. We were home around 6 and just enjoyed the night.
