Very interesting about the wind today, Robin. I have friends who flew home from Grand Cayman today. They told me the whole time they were there (4 days) it was so windy and rough, they couldn't sit on the beach or go swimming. Don't know if that's uncommon for this time of year. Just found it an odd similarity.

Wow! Wonder what's going on. Is Mother Nature sending us a big warning that she's finally fed up with us? Hmmm...

Every winter we get some really windy days. I think there are less of them this year though. It is just how it is I guess. It is supposed to be calmer for the rest of the week.

The plan today was to go downtown. Our friends who were here in February left some stuff for us to store. Stu accidentally broke an insulated mug and that is why we were going to downtown. He got tied up with work and we did not go. I did some prep for dinner tomorrow and worked on some ancestry stuff. After lunch I picked up some snacks to take to my mosaic class and stopped at one of those tents selling clothing, flags, etc. for Flag and Anthem Day and picked up a tee shirt for me. I was able to pretty much finish my project. I left it to finish drying and still have to clean it once it is dry. I'm not trilled with the petals, but it was my first try at cutting plates, so it is what it is. I'm not trilled with the petals, but cutting plates is not as easy as it looks and it was my first time doing that. I did add a picture to album. Dinner was wine, bread and cheese on the beach prepared by Stu. A friend was also out there for the sunset and we joined her and her niece and watched wedding pictures being taken. The sunset was actually nice today and I did add some pictures of it to my album. The winds were much better today, but the surf was strong.

I saw the mosaic on FB and it is great!
Lots of hard work and it shows.

I really like your mosaic and the petals are just fine. You’re too critical of your work!
