Love the mosiac.... I'd hang that anywhere in my home....! Question..... when you break the plates for petals... do you grind the sharp edges as well?

We actually use a glass cutting tool(different than a tile tool) to cut the plates and then use a rubbing stone for both plates and tiles.

Thank-you for the wonderful review of my mosaic. I gives me encouragement.

Today I spent the day at the pool reading. It was beautiful and quiet. Dinner was just spaghetti and meatballs.

We went downtown today to look for an item that belongs to our friend that Stu accidentally broke. It only took about 45 minutes to find it. We were surprised to see a ship in port-other than Freewinds-since it as not on the port schedule. Cunard's Queen Victoria was here and even the website it wasn't supposed to be here. We got some gelato and headed home. Stayed in the condo all day reading. We went to Hung Paradise for dinner because so many people on here and at Oceania had recommended it. Stu had Hunan Beef and I had Lemon Chicken. Both were very good. We didn't see much of our server though. Back home now and watching TV. We also talked about what were will be doing about covid 19. Where are we better off? Here or home? We leave April 1 and decided to see what happens over the next few days and weeks. No easy answers.

I do find the service at Hung Paradise to be somewhat relaxed but we enjoy the food and the owner is very nice. I love their pork fried rice because it has thin pieces of pork and not those dyed pink pork chunks! The giant egg roll is pretty good too.

Today I realized I need detergent and went to SuperFoods early getting there at 845. It was a mob insane. I could not believe how busy it was. The checkout lines were like 15-20 people deep. I got what I needed and some items I had planned to pick up later in the week because I was afraid nothing would be left. The rest of the day was at the pool. It's been very quiet. Several of us have discussed if it is better to stay or go home or what happens if we get stuck here. There are rumors that Aruba may ban planes from the US and Canada. So many rumors. There is a family here from England. One member is supposed to leave today, his wife and kids and sil is supposed to leave Monday, but they really didn't know what would happen because the flights. Her parents own here and are supposed to be here to April 2. I don't know what they are doing. Spoke with our younger son before dinner since he was off today. Dinner was leftovers. Talked with a couple two doors down who just came in.

Sunday we slept in which was really nice. We went to the pool before lunch and were surprised that there were several newcomers. Steve and his wife came over in the pm and we just hung out and talked. Lots of laughs and then headed to the Beach Bar for Happy Hour and dinner. It was so much fun! Headed home around 8 or so because I drank before eating and it started to really bother me. Got caught up online and read. My mosaic class is cancelled for two weeks. I am hoping to pick up my piece before I go home, but not even sure when that will be.
