Last night we continued our first night tradition of eating at the bar at Ruth Chris. We enjoyed catching up with Franklin, the bartender and his martinis are fantastic. Mike and I split the rib eye steak and the wedge salad.
This morning we trekked into town so Mike can stock up on his cigars. Stopped back at Lings to pick up 3 items that we missed off our shopping list yesterday. I made BLTs and heated up the leftover steak for lunch and now we’re heading to the beach. The weather is a bit overcast but I’m in Aruba. All is good.
This evening we’re meeting up with a group of friends to catch the sunset. We’ll figure out dinner later.
Casino tally so far is minus $60.

Thank you for sharing your adventures with us.

-$60 is not too bad. I call that almost break even.

Nice times! Hope we have a sunset this evening. I've been here for 17 days that the sun has set, There hasn't been one worth mentioning.

I want to grow my own food, but I
    can't find any bacon seeds...

Woke up to another cloudy day with Accuweather predicting more of the same tomorrow. The forecast is for things to brighten up on Friday.
Casino losses are now at $135. It’s trending in the wrong direction so tonight we’re going to take a break and stay in.
I’m making marinara sauce now to go over linguini for tonight’s dinner. Salad is washed and ready and we picked up a bottle of red. Hopefully we’ll be able to eat on the balcony. I’m not counting on a sunset but the Ocean Club recently installed colorful up lighting around the pool that is beautiful so we’ll enjoy the view.

Hoping the weather turns sunny for you!! At least is still warm, that is what I really miss. Do you play the slots at the casino or the tables?

Slots. We’ve only played at the Stellaris so far. Tomorrow night we’ll try the Hyatt. I like the machines there and we seem to have better luck there. Planning to make a deposit at the Ritz too.

I liked the Ritz a lot but I never did well there. I enjoyed it because it was the least smoky of the casinos. Now of course, they’re all non smoking

I liked the Ritz casino because they served drinks in real glasses.

And the Ritz has drinks with good alcohol. The Hyatt has terrible drinks if they have something you like at all. Very limited selection. I do well usually at the Ritz slots and the Hyatt takes my money with not a moment's break. If you end the night at the Ritz, order a Baileys and Coffee (yummy).
