Whee! Squee! It's phrogg's trip number three!! - 10/23-11/6

I am embarrassed to say that I gave that trip post title WAY more thought than I should have but now that it's been posted, let the trip report begin!!

Today is Swab-Up-The-Nose Day! I have two tests scheduled at two different places today - one at 11am and one at 12:30pm, Overkill? Probably, but I just wanna make sure one of them comes back in time so I can get everyone's favorite green check mark! Hubs has his scheduled today at 10:30am and one after that this afternoon. My anxiety is at 11 right now because this trip is not only me and my husband but, as I have mentioned FAR too many times, my two adult sons and my father and stepmother are also going to be joining us on this trip. Their first time, our third. They will all get there next week, but we go this Saturday. We will have about 3 and half days to ourselves and then They arrive. Ha! We are going to be celebrating my 50th birthday (early - it's in December) down there, so this should hopefully be a really good time for everyone. Those I love most all with me in my happy place for to celebrate my 50th birthday? Can't really ask for more than that!

Our flight leaves Dayton at 5am (oof) on Saturday morning, we fly to Charlotte and we arrive in Aruba at 11:41am - God willing (and the creek don't rise).

Anyway, get ready to be bored to tears with my Balashi drinking, beach visiting, blue drink consuming, snorkel trip taking, Local Store eating, Slippery Monkey quashing, probably-way-too-many-activities-planned trip report! Let's do this!!!

Thanks!! I am nervous about the COVID test, but only in the way that I am nervous around cops even if I am not doing anything wrong. I feel fine and doubt I have COVID, but there is always that irrational fear...

I hear ya girl - it was stressful for me as well - it's the oddest thing - you just need to see that "Negative" to get relief and carry on with the vacation planning and excitement! Once you get the results its a big burden off your shoulders. You'll do fine at the airport in Aruba - I had myself very stressed out but once I was doing the process and they have the process down excellently I believe - I was much better and felt dumb getting myself so worked up. So try not to stress as much for that. Have your info and green checkmark on your phones or printed out (or both like we did ), you'll be fine! I'm so very excited for you and your hubs and family! This is 100% it right now. As soon as I see that "negative", I will turn into a pile of goo of relaxation and probably actually sleep whatever night that is. Sleeping has not been my friend these past two weeks...
