Let's hope it holds off for just a bit tomorrow because my boys are supposed to be flying from Columbus, OH into Newark to here tomorrow. Their flight lands in Newark around 830am and the flight to Aruba leaves at 10:30ish. Ugh. My anxiety just went way back up, which is no fun while in Aruba...![]()

Your boys should be fine. I live in NJ about 1/2 hour from Newark Airport and my weather app shows the worst of it being over by 1am tomorrow morning. All should go well for their travel!
Ok, phewwwww. That makes me feel a LOT better. Thank you!!!
Of course, this Aruba Ariba at the bar across from Amsterdam Manor also helps a smidge. Heh. I've added a bunch more pictures to my link and two of them are from the EarthCam that is right here. I messaged my co-workers, told them to pull up the feed and waved to them. Hahaha! They took some screen shots of us for me. Lol. I look at that camera every day when at home so I figured why not actually come see it in person!![]()

Ha! Good call, B!! I have not had any mango yet but it will def happen!!
Today so far, we went to Linda's for breakfast, then over to Amsterdam Manor so I could look like a fool and wave to the EarthCam and people back home. We tried the bird sanctuary but didn't see much other than a used condom (ew) and a lot of little lizards. Oh, and two roosters. We then drove down to Pega Pega for the calamari and it did NOT disappoint! Yummm! Had a bucket of Balashi there, finished up and decided to drive to the south end of the island. We saw Rodgers Beach and Baby Beach. The latter was packed! So many people there! We kept on driving and went past the pet cemetery, Grape Field Beach and various other beaches. Saw two donkeys out roaming around and a handful of goats. We took random roads from there and just drove around. Got back to our Airbnb a little but ago and will probably swim for a bit. Not sure what we will do later just yet.
My kids and my dad and stepmom all have their green check marks, so all that needs to happen now is that the weather cooperates and everyone gets here safely.
More later!!

I keep forgetting to ask: where are good, reputable places to get jewelry here? I know several of you have gotten jewelry here and I wanna make sure we go to a good place if we go. Thanks in advance!!
