I’ve made a few purchases at Gandlemans downtown. The pieces I bought are David Yurman necklaces and I’ve been very happy with the pieces and the store.
We had good luck the last coupla visits with Casablanca directly below Texas de Brazil. Good selection and nice people. Years ago We got some treasures at Little Switzerland downtown...... I still wear my Rado and my titanium cable bracelet and Patti the Aaron Basha lady bug ring.

Thanks Andrea, Peg and CP! I'm debating buying myself a 50th birthday present while here in the form of a ring of some kind. Nothing over the top fancy, but it would be fun to get something here. My younger son is also quite into fashion and was asking about watches and chains. He's already practically drooling knowing there's a Louis Vuitton, Gucci and D&G store downtown here. Lol. We don't have those in Dayton. I'm also not sure where he gets this fashion streak from because it ain't from me - the one who wears $10 t-shirts from Target every day. Hahaha! Anyhoo, I told him we will go to those places if he wants. If they let us in. Lol.
We decided to switch it up last night and on a whim, we went to Wacky Wahoos for dinner and OMG it was amazing! Our first time there, but absolutely not the last! Hubs got the grouper and shrimp combo and I got the barracuda and Caribbean lobster tail combo. Both were fantastic! The grouper was exceptional though. Yummm! We ended up going to Bugaloe afterwards and a live band was playing and rockin out. They were also exceptional!! We had a blast! Not a whole lotta social distancing goin on there. I made sure I stayed at the table for some "satellite dancing". Heh. I had way too many drinks and then we came home and I crashed in bed.
My kids first leg of their flight here has successfully landed in Newark and they're on the way to their gate for the flight here! Whee!! They arrive at 3:10pm. I'm so excited to see them and show them Aruba!!

I've made a few purchases at Gandelmans. They used to have a branch store at the Marriott Stellaris but moved down to the Hilton a few years ago. Would suggest the main store downtown for a bigger selection (ask for Gary Rodriguez if he's still there; he's just wonderful).
Yeah, whatcha lookin' for? Inquiring jealous minds need to know! LOL!
this is a bit off topic but it does begin at KAYS jewelers in Aruba.
A few years ago I was looking to replace a gold claddagh ring that I had lost.
I went to KAYS in Aruba, and the gentleman there said no that they ad none, but he would make some inquiries.
He took my Aruba # and my email.
He told me that he put the word out to some of his jeweler friends.
Right before we left AUA he emailed me and gave me the name and email of a jeweler in the USA that deals in lots of estate jewelry and he had a nice selection of new and estate claddagh rings. I contacted the jeweler and asked if he could send me some photos of the selections. He did, and then I noticed the name of the store. It was our local jeweler here in Lakeland............ MUNCHELS.
Hahahahaha I had to go to Aruba to be referred back to Lakeland
I got a ring!
Now, back to Phrogg's trip # 3 report!!!

My boys are here! Yay!! They arrived around 320pm. We went to Bochincha (again) for dinner tonight and it was 2 for 1 drinks! Do you know how many Balashi that is when you get a bucket and then a second for free? A lot! Woo! After that, we drove them to the resort area and had dessert at Salt & Pepper and watched the people go by. We dropped them at their Airbnb since they've had a long travel day. My dad and stepmom get here tomorrow and then real party can begin! Lol.
Earlier today, we went to Arashi Beach Shack, had some drinks and food (B, I had two Magic Mangos for ya!) and then went to Boca Catalina for some snorkeling. Beautiful as always! We also managed to see my kids plane as it was landing since we were driving to the airport and caught it just right. Pic added to my Google album. Lots of other pictures too, including one of a drink I had at S&P. It's called Peanut Butter Madness and is made with Skrewball PB whiskey, cucumber vodka, raspberry something or other and more cucumber. As totally weird as it sounds, it was actually pretty tasty. However, the heartburn I have from it now is NOT a good time. Oof.
Tomorrow, we are gonna take them to Bugaloe for breakfast, go to Superfood for some groceries and then pick up my dad. Cookout tomorrow at their Airbnb so everyone can settle in.
Oh, and my younger son is super excited about going shopping next week, now that he's seen all the stores downtown. Lol. Still remains to be seen if they'll let us in. Ha!
Great photos.... and I spy one proud Momma.....! And..... I guess that was Hubby doing the bar nap thing a few days ago....!

Welcome to Aruba Phrogg's sons!!
Do you have a sunburn?
