helpful hint for the low sand chairs.
while you are sitting there, dig a hole in the front.
when you need to get up drop your feet into the hole and push with your arms.

I learned this last year at Arashi.
I watched a lady older than I, but not as large as I, get herself out of one of the Tommy Bahama chairs locket split.

    No schedule!!!!

    Enjoy.

We also went to Superfoods for some wine for my stepmom, got some sunscreen and bug spray, drove up to the Arashi Beach Shack for a blue drink and to stare at the blue water. Then, over to the Super Do-It Center (who has all their Christmas stuff up already) for some camp chairs to drag to the beach. Our Airbnb only has the low beach chairs and they are rough to get up out of for me. We are back at the Airbnb now for a quick Balashi (shocking, I know) and will venture back out shortly for our next adventure. Not sure what that will be yet, but that's kinda the beauty of it: little to no schedule. Ahhhhh...
THINK.. is it Thoughtful? Helpful? Inspirational? Necessary? Kind? SIDTM

Today's rundown (after our break earlier): went to Moomba for lunch, apparently there was some Dutch Formula One race/racer or something going on because the entire bar was taken over by Dutch speaking folks who had vested interest in whatever was on TV. Anyhoo, we decided to go next door(ish) to the Marriott and have some Slippery Monkeys and were NOT disappointed! After that, we came back to our Airbnb again, swam a bit, had some Balashi and decided to try Straddle It Saloon for dinner. The view was OUTSTANDING and the food was mostly ok. I had the ceviche which was awesome. Hubs had the wings and ribs, which were meh-ish. That view though is something else!! After that, we came back to our Airbnb to grab some local-to-Dayton craft beers that I brought to share with Fireson's owner, Tony. He's struggling with the government permits and things that he's had for three years now that they suddenly have stopped on him. Anyway, he liked what I brought and we had some snacky food there too. Back at the Airbnb now so we can go to bed soon and be at Bugaloe tomorrow morning for breakfast, so I can rub it in at work. Hahaha!

A few other random things: we drove down Watty Voss Blvd earlier and saw Amsterdam Manor, Playa del Carmen, Divi Links and Whatever Else, Oceania, Eagle Beach and a bunch of stuff everyone here talks about. It was seriously cool to see all that stuff in person!! I've read so much about it now that to actually see it was faboo! Robin, I waved at your condo for you! Lol.

Loving your trip report - you do know how to have fun girl! You are putting a big smile on my face, thank you again for taking us along. I put down the Straddle it Saloon info for my April trip - not so much for the food but the view and a few cocktails! I too love that area with several resorts and condos - very cool looking at the properties as well as Eagle Beach.

If the Amstel Brights were for CP.......then the Slippery Monkeys must have been for Walt, Pam and me.
The slippery monkey is always a vacation tradition for me & my husband - we always stop to have one on the day of our arrival. I was able to "name that drink" immediately from all the beverages in your photo gallery. (cute idea - I love the beverage of the day motif you've started).

phrogg, if you find yourself meandering down to Eagle Beach again, stop in at Manchebo Beach Resort and have a few drinks and lunch at Pega Pega, the beach bar there. Great food and views of Eagle Beach. All their food is great, but their calamari rings are to die for!

I think you need to keep count of how many Balashis you have over the course of your vacation and make us all try to guess at the end!
