Divi Dutch Village vs. Divi Golf Resort

I've heard generally good things about both of these resorts; I guess indecisiveness is kicking in. Which of the two would you all recommend? We love the idea of being on/near the beach and having a kitchen for preparing our own meals. Thanks in advance.

You can view the property locations at this map

The Divi Dutch is by far closer to the beach, though behind the buildings of the Tamarijn.

The Divi Links are newer units, but pretty far from the beach. They also have a beautiful swimming pool. Closer to the beach in older buildings is the Divi Village.

What is labeled "Divi Village All Inclusive Villas" are the Links Villas.

We've stayed at Dutch Village and looked at rooms at the Links. The Links was too much like home for us (green grass) so we didn't care for it. Plus it is a good walk to the beach. The pools and rooms are nice at the Links. We didn't mind the DV at all - room was nice, especially as little as we were in it. There are different pools to choose from there as well as the beach being very close.
