    Eagle Aruba Resort

I know some of you have stayed at this resort which is laid back and across from La Cabana. I wanted to get some feedback as Interval Exchange has a lot of weeks available. I read some trip advisor reports and guests were happy. I recall they did renovations a few years back. Seems to be a quiet resort like Paradise Beach Villas.

I believe that the renovations finished about 6 mrs ago.
We like the resort a lot!!!
Last time we stayed there was about 6 years ago...our grandson Liam had his 1st birthday there with us.

Since then, the rooms have been fully renovated and an additional adult only pool has been added and the casino shut down.

They do provide golf cart shuttles to the beach or at least they did a few months ago.

There is a Dunkin and a pizza place on property.

It is quieter than LaCabana but unsure if it is as quiet at PBV.

They also seem like they got rid of the casino and have a restaurant there now. Double Down Sports Bar and Grill. Aruba Ray is there now, too.

    Yes, as Robin said...

We stayed there a few years ago, when they were in the first stage of room renovation. They were nice. I've walked through the property each of our last two trips. It has changed some, all for the better.

Double down has been there for years. I ate there like 10 years ago when they had the casino. Mostly burgers, ribs, fajitas, quesadilla etc bar food but ok. Pizza Bob used to be there but moved. However, they have a new pizzeria there now and some reviews from patrons who stood there mentioned it was good. Thx
