Sadly, I agree with you, Peg. Hope they wait a few years. It will be interesting to hear what the staff has to say next August. ***sigh***

In looking at their website, they own a Holiday Inn; a Courtyard by Marriott and and a Hotel
Indigo. Take from that what you will, but personally I would expect big changes. Don’t know if it’s a good thing or not. Trying to keep an open mind.

So many investment companies have their properties run by a management group for operations like Holiday Inn, Hilton or Marriott. I'd hate to see Manchebo become just another 'big name' lodging place.

I know how she feels! It will probably take awhile before they have plans in place to start making changes. On your next trip you should be able to get a feel for how staff is adjusting and if there are any noticeable differences. You will still be on that gorgeous beach, under a palapa and enjoying Aruba.

I feel exactly the same. I don't really expect to see any changes next year...maybe not even for a few years. I hope the new owners come to appreciate how special it is "as is". Peg, you and Tom need to get back down before there are any changes!!

Solo at Manchebo is heavenly; it's how I roll. Or go in August and hang out with me! Temps are the same and it's less crowded! :-)
