I guess only the RICH and FAMOUS will stay there. I walked down to it in July and was not impressed with the beach area at all. Ill stay at my DIVI Phoenix.

I walked up there the day they opened and the beach can not be a finished product (at least I would hope not). There were a lot of rocks both in and out of the water. People paying Ritz rates will want a much better beach than what I saw. Right now rooms for December can be had for $449, so not necessarily for the rich and famous but more expensive than anywhere else.

Walked down the day it opened 11/22 and then 2 days later. Frankly it looked list ghost town.
Strolled thru , empty lobby, empty casino, empty pool, empty beach chairs.... Go figure. Not our kind of resort.
Wish it much luck. I do know that Ritz Carlton's will not fail anywhere.

Went to your blog Lisa... Amazing. Thank you for your hard work! As for the Ritz and their pricing. I'll take the Phoenix any day of the week. Aruba bound in one week! JL
