    Riu Palace vs Barcelo

Looking to travel the first week of November to Aruba for the first time as a couple. We are 26 years old and deciding between the Riu Palace Aruba and the Barcelo. Can anyone guide me to which is better for us? I’ve read many reviews and they each have pros and cons, but interested in anyone who can compare the two. We have decided against the Riu Antillas due to the construction site next door. I know we will still hear it occasionally but it won’t be as disruptive by staying at Riu Palace Aruba or Barcelo. I also know Aruba has some of the best restaurants , and food is important to us but the convenience of an all inclusive is what we enjoy. I would love to hear which resort is reccomended for us. Thanks

Welcome to the forum. I understand the desire for all inclusive, but there are a lot of places in Palm Beach to get a great meal. If you have done all inclusive before, I would take a look at the online reviews for both places. They food and booze might not be what you are expecting. You can search both hotels using the search feature at the top right of the forum page. Either way you're going to love Aruba.

Welcome to the forum. I think you will find that most people on this site prefer not to go all inclusive. That said, I don’t want to discourage you as we have stayed at the Divi AI and do appreciate the convenience. Hopefully, someone will be able to post an opinion on the two resorts you are considering. In the meantime, you might want to take a look at renting a timeshare to see if that might be a good option for you

welcome to the aruba.com community forum.

cannot help you w/ Barcelo and Riu as I have never stayed in either.

as Peg says consider the Divi AI or its sister property Tamarijn if you are looking for AI.
THINK.. is it Thoughtful? Helpful? Inspirational? Necessary? Kind? sidtm

Actually Divi is offering 20% off their rack rates. Here’s a link to their site: https://www.diviaruba.com/hotel-specials.htm
