Good to hear this. I believe it's legit, but will wait for Maria's confirmation before booking.

    I really appreciate your help.

i am one of the main folks that wanders and deviates.
that being said, i do ask that we all try to stay on the original topic.
if we have to wander to a new topic (and many of us do) make a new thread and post a link in the old thread directing others.

I have not heard back from Maria yet so I decided to go ahead and try to call the place. I called the 1-800 number (888-817-5735) and there was an answering machine that answered right away and said to leave a message for "Aruban Resort". Not sure if that's what they call themselves or not. I didn't leave a message. Then when I try to call the regular number, it says it has been disconnected.

Ehhh...I tried that number and it says it can not be completed as dialed. I must not have the service that will allow me to call there. I tried the 888 number again and now it rang and rang and said the reservations department is now closed (at 5pm). I would really hate to wait so long that it gets booked up and I miss out.

    use skype or a voip
if you just dial from a cell phone or from a land line phone that does not have international service you will not get far.

    i stand corrected.
that gentleman does not currently own hundreds of timeshare units.
i was told he is now down to under 100.

paul and i have rented from him before.
(i did not disclose this as i was unsure and had to look it up)
it was christmas week 2010, at caribbean palm village.
it was easy peasy. no issues.

We stayed in a newly renovated one bedroom unit overlooking the waterfall this past January. We had free in room wifi. According to the front desk, the renovated rooms get free wifi.
