I'm surprised you aren't considering the Ritz.

I enjoy my days at the Ritz but need the extra space a 1br offers and cant stomach 1700 plus tax per night.

That would probably make the most sense - hope it works out for you!

Still on the fence so to speak. There was a spot at Oceania but I am not interested in 600 per night at this point in my life and the extra days at the Boardwalk are not far from it over the Holiday.....so, still undecided as of now. I will look into Azure as well- decisions decisions decisions...should not be this hard, lol.

I would lean toward extending the stay at the Boardwalk. You and your family appear to like it there very much. It’s comfortable and you have your Aruba vacation routine set. It would be nice to try a new place and different beach but at this stage in the game why bother moving and lose a day packing, relocating and unpacking for 5 nights? Just my two cents worth.

Agree 100%. You do lose a day packing and unpacking taking checkin and checkout times into consideration.

You should not be paying $600 a night for a two bedroom at Oceania. If you want, I may be able to send you some units that may fit your needs depending on your dates. Remember, if you are looking at places like VRBO, and they have a management company, then you are paying extra $$$.

New day, new turn. Looks like La Cabana is doing a nice remodel as well. The room we were "suppose" to stay in is all remodeled- BUT the room directly underneath us starts their update the day we move and and continues my entire stay. The gentleman I spoke with was wonderful...he tried to move us to a less a noisy area but they had no availability in any quiet areas- he said the room you are in will hear it all day probably=canceled. So we are now trying to confirm we can keep our room at the Boardwalk another 5 nights. So technically I am without a room but will get one for sure at the Boardwalk so we will be okay in the end. I was looking forward to the pool at La Cabana but not packing up won't hurt.
