Thread: Villa Rental

    Villa Rental

    Hi everyone,

Doing some research around a villa to rent in Feb 2019. I am thinking about moving forward with a rental from a company called Aruba Services. Might anyone have used this company in the past? If so, could anyone provide information on how their overall experience was. I am very tentative with my money (who isn't?) and I am looking for other views if there are any. Website link below...

    Thanks to all that reply!

Check to see if the company itself is responsible for any issues that arise during your stay OR if it's the property owners responsibility to address issues.

It wasn't clear on the website and I would ask that because the properties are linked to in the main site rather than being part of the site itself. They might just be a broker to the property.

NP. When we were renting villas, we booked all of ours with this company:

    https://www.arubavillavacationhomes.com/

They were also responsible for resolution when/if issues arose. We only had two incidents over the years (I think we rented through them about twelve times) and they showed up at the houses within an hour.

We now use them as property managers for our owned property. Highly recommend them (Anna and Matthew).

Agreed. Matthew and Anna Smillie are the best. Very reliable, so honest people. We used to rent villas from them for years.

I did check them out and there are so many great reviews, excellent. The challenge I have is that any of the properties that fit my criteria and not quite where I was hoping to be (essentially beach front). 5 bedrooms, sleeps 10. Maybe I will shoot them an email and see if they have additional properties. Thanks again everyone, great to be able to get recommendations from this forum vs crossing fingers.

I think I may have found a property through them that would suit our needs. Have emailed and awaiting their reply... Thanks again.

I don't know if you'd be interested in a condo across the street from Eagle Beach. There are a few here at Oceania that sleep 10-12. Walking distance to several restaurants, quite a few amenities on the gate property. Here is the company that we have our condo with(our condo is not that big). They do a really great job
