Although it won't be Aruba it is still a vacation so I hope you and hubby have a wonderful, fun time. Nice perks, with free laundry and dry cleaning perhaps that will help in downsizing extra clothes. Safe travels, just the name of the Kelly's restaurant sounds like a fun place.

Two formal nights.. I am just starting to pack which means I will over do it.. or forget something.
I have to pack Lou's stuff too. And of course make sure Robert packs the right stuff. lol
Plan on packing a shorts to go with their dinner pants so they can change real quick and recycle them.
One good thing we are driving to Fort Lauderdale; and can leave stuff right in the trunk.

Im right behind you on a couple weeks leaving for a 4 night cruise on Norwegian out of Port Canaveral with 2 nights before and 1 night after in Cocoa Beach. It's only our 2nd cruise and I am dreading the packing part. Jon's goal is pack the smallest bag possible. My goal is pack what we need in a way that we are not digging through bags in each of the 3 different rooms (before during and after).
We don't like dressing up, but also don't want to be the only ones on our group skipping out on nicer dinners because of it. Our group isn't the best at planning ahead, so I feel like I need dress up and dress down clothes for every day. We are on the Epic and it's sold out so it's going to be a lot of people.

Have you ever been to Cape Canaveral before? I really like the Cocoa Beach area. In past years my MIL was a snow bird and lived about 1/2 hour from the port. I would take the kids to visit her (before they were old enough to go themselves and they loved it too) and we would spend a few nights in a hotel on the beach.

It's our first time in the area, I'm really looking forward to visiting a new beach.
Emerald Isle is such a laid back area. We went for a wedding a few years ago and would definitely go back.

Realizing packing for a 10 day cruise vs Aruba is so much difficult. (men must wear long pants in the main dining room for dinner...not even those real nice golf/dress shorts)

Leaving Saturday morning and will stay in Fort Lauderdale two days pre cruise.. free at Holiday Express right next to the port.
Will be going to my favorite place to eat. Kelly's Landing. The best New England seafood. yummy.

Monday heading on a Princess Cruise for 10 days to the Panama Canal... been up graded to an Ocean Suite which has so many perks..
(free laundry/dry cleaning and will take advantage of that too... mini bar; special dining area for "suite" (weird) and etc.)

First and most important the other forum is not a 1/4 as nice as this one. You ask a question about something and omg.... lets say some
need a course in manners... a bunch of trolls..
