My husband and I will try to get our booster end of the month, Pfizer, although there is a study to encourage mixing vaccines. Not doing that. I have a mammogram scheduled on 10/27 so I have to wait until after that because of the lymph node issue showing up on mammograms. As for the the shots working better when people get side affects - my husband had no side affects other than the arm pain. He had a physical last Friday. They included the antibody test with his blood work. He still has antibodies so the shots work even without side affects. Yay! I will get the booster but a little nervous about the side affects the booster seems to be causing.

I had my Pfizer booster on 10/8 - just had a very sore arm but that only lasted 2 days.

My son who is a teacher at a middle school got his booster Moderna and a week later tested positive for covid.. only real symptoms was loss of taste and smell
He couldn't taste his hot wings. did a store kit then went to the ED where he received on dose of IV ABT and medication Told to stay home for 10 days; only reason he got paid was he was vaccinated. (did test myself and husband both negative )
Me I am still getting tested every single Monday

I am glad your son didn't get too sick. I hope he gets well soon and does not have any lasting effects. The vaccines are good, but nothing is 100%.

    Awesome.

FYI_I just saw on the news that they are considering recommending immunocompromised individuals should get a 4th shot aka 2nd booster 6 months after the first booster. https://6abc.com/fourth-covid-shot-i...cine/11173656/
