Good evening everyone,
The number of COVID-19 cases in both countries is trending in the wrong direction so the border (land crossings) will remain closed until at least December 21, 2020.
On the good news front, two points to be made here. First, two vaccines are being evaluated by Health Canada and if approved, the first doses could be rolled out in early to mid-January. Donna and I may be able to get a needle by Easter.
Second, and a vital piece of the vaccine supply chain, a Canadian appliance company in Danby, Ontario is working flat out on a 'super-freezer' which will be able to store vaccines at the required -75F TO -80F.
Everyone around the world is trying to do their part.
Enjoy your evening everybody,
Glenn
