I hope CJ feels better soon. I had Lyme disease many years ago and if wasn't for a bad reaction to a bee sting that sent me to the doctor, I never would have known. I am glad you are on it.

Stu has two upcoming tele-med appointments. He did go for bloodwork. Our insurance requires it to be a video-such as Face time. It can't be just a phone call per our insurance.

BTW-the medical company my son works for was one of the first to use tele-med on a regular basis for their patients.

The doctor just returned our call. Based on the fact I was able to remove the entire tick and it had yet to swell up she is recommending NOT treating him with the meds at this point. We need to watch the spot as well as his entire body for spots over the next several weeks and monitor his temp. Thanks for all the concern.

Great news. I know the meds they gave me about 25 years ago made me sick to my stomach for 3 weeks.

I have been out of the loop but best wishes to CJ, hopefully nothing more comes from the bite.

And Andrea I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.

Hi everyone. I haven't posted an update on my mom in a while. She was rushed to the hospital on March 26 with covid 19. She's 91 and lives in assisted living. Her recovery has been up and down. We thought that we were going to lose her several times. The virus ravaged her body. She hasn't been able to get over the pneumonia. The doctor released her from the hospital last week. She is now back in her assisted living with hospice care. She has perked up some now that she's returned home, but the pneumonia is not improving and she requires high levels of oxygen.

Andrea, I'm so sorry to hear about your relatives. This virus is horrific. I hope that various states do not open up too soon.
