Don’t know about the NFL status but the Red Sox got the okay to open Fenway. No fans in the stands though.

Since you are taLking about TVs, I am going to get a smart tv for my craft room (3rd bedroom).
I need a tv in that room.
I need to have tv going to keep me occupied in that room when I am making cards.
Currently, my stuff is spread out from that 3rd bedroom, into the tv room, into the dining room and into the breakfast nook.
Wherever there is a table and a tv in ear range my stuff is scattered there.
It is to everyone's best interest that my stuff and I get reined in and confined to the room where I am all set up.
It would not have gotten this bad if we had people in visiting or for cocktails or dinner.
I never would have let folks see all my craft stuff scattered about.
I blame it on Covid 19.

Got Lou a really nice samsung 75" crystal udh 4K smart tv; (samsung gave 3 yrs warranty and Bj's gave us 3 yrs) and a new wireless sound system to go with it (had gift cards from work so it worked out well)
Order it and picked it up; Now hoping we will have some NFL to watch.
    He is very happy, since he only goes out to do yard work in the am and will let the TV watch him nap;
Now just have to order some new hinges to put it on the wall (all our TV's are that way)

I wonder if they will have "canned fan noise" like cheering or booing like they have the laugh tracks for TV shows.

NJ opened the casinos yesterday, but put a hold on indoor dining. A lot of restaurants ordered more food, cleaned, etc only to be told earlier in the week it is a no go.

That's what they are doing for Premier league Soccer, it makes it seem just a little better than only the commentators.

I never thought of that! It would kind of make sense though.

I think they wouldn't do that. If my Pats are playing in DC, I don't want to "hear" the crowd boo when most of them are wearing Pats jerseys.

After 4 months I was able to get my hair colored and cut.(it had been since November or December that I had a trim other than my hack job). I almost didn't go. As I was walking out the door, David called asking me to pick him up at work because he hurt his back and couldn't drive to the urgent care. I got Stu and told him he had to take him. Since Stu and I are sharing a vehicle right now, I took him to David's base which is about a mile from home. Stu took David to urgent care in my SUV and I took the truck that David drives to get my hair done. The first urgent care didn't have a xray tech and they had to send them across town. Neither place was busy and they did let Stu stay in the waiting room. Stu wore his N95 and one of my homemade masks over it. David pulled muscles and is out of work for a week.

Glad to hear it's nothing more serious than pulled muscles for David (although that's no fun). But the real question is...do you feel like a new woman?!!! I got mine done three weeks ago and it really lifted my sagging spirits.

Oh, it feels so good! In a few weeks I am going in for pedi which I really need/want. I'm not worried about nails because it seems like they are healthier bare, but pedis are so relaxing.

David is sore, he had a shot and was prescribed meds.
