They may have sent it before but I don't usually read the emails because they are usually asking for $$. I was DC'84.

Well our governor here in Virginia and his wife have tested positive for covid. The Mrs toured a preschool within a few days of testing positive - a preschool where parents have not been allowed inside since March! They both toured George Mason University two days before testing positive. Great of example of do what I say, not what I do.

Yeah, King Ralph has not practiced what he preached. From mandating masks and appearing in public without one, to showing up on the Outer Banks when it was closed to non-residents, to closing things arbitrarily in different parts of the state, he has set a remarkable example.... of what not to do.

Well I didn't realize that one of the daycare centers that was visited by the first lady of VA is the one where our friend's daughter goes. Two of the teachers tested positive and today a child tested positive. Its a nightmare for parents. It is a daycare center that caters to a lot of hospital workers. For now our friend's family is doing okay and it was not in her daughter's classroom.

For the first time since March or April our county had no new cases although cases are going up in hot spots elsewhere in the state.

Massachusetts has been using a color coded map to show the number of cases in each city. Our city had been in the green zone (lower risk) for weeks but then Wednesday we moved into the yellow zone. Numbers have been increasing and while the yellow zone is still considered lower/moderate risk, it is still concerning.

Boston is in the red zone or high risk and yet the schools have been opened. I feel we’re in for a long winter.
