nice to hear from you ace!
    hope that you are well.

if our cruise is cancelled, we will get the taxes refunded.

Lisa...sorry I forgot to answer you. Grand Turk and a private island.

I chose 100% reimbursement. They were talking about going bankrupt so I said to myself, I better get my money. Still taking the week off from work.

We have a cruise booked with Viking in July on the Danube. We have cancelled our pre-trip, but are waiting to cancel the cruise at the advice of our travel agent. If we cancel, we can apply the entire amount to rebooking, however; she said she thinks Viking will cancel and then we would get the $125% credit.

Lucky you. I'm dying to get near a slot machine. Haven't been to A.C. in years. Only gamble in Aruba. Missed out on that last month.

Do you think cruises will stop having buffets? I don't see how that is practical, but I was talking to my uncle who is a grocery store manager and he said from what they are being told they probably will never again have a self serve salad bar, lunch buffet, or self-pack donuts. It got me thinking about cruises.

on the last 2 cruises , nothing was self serve .....passengers passed thru the buffet line and servers placed the food on people's plates. it worked well!!
    even the coffee stations.

when entering any food area onboard there was a staff member spraying hands with antibacterial gel.
there was a passenger who was unreasonable and not compliant.
was confined to his cabin as a result.
when we docked at Port Canaveral, local authorities removed him from the ship.

I wonder if the All Inclusives will take the same approach...having staff serve from the buffet. It would certainly make me feel better about it, as buffet style already creeps me out (pre-covid).
