We cut the cord with Verizon several months ago. We got rid of our landlines and cable, but kept the wifi. We haven't missed it at all. We already had several streaming channels, in addition to cable, and we canceled a few of those because there's nothing on them that we are currently watching. Hulu has most of the main channel shows that we watched with Verizon, just showing them one day later, and we kept a few others. We are saving several hundred dollars each month.
Got rid of the landline years ago but still use Verizon for the cells and wireless. Also still have Comcast for cable. Have often thought about getting rid of cable etc but have just been too lazy to do the research!
I just a sucker for old westerns... old movies and series from the 50s and 60s. So as long as I have 3 western channels (one w/o commercials) I'm sticking with Starz!
A wise man never knows all......only fools know everything!
A couple of years ago I cut the cord too Jay - I just pay for my WiFi and stream - best decision I ever made.
