    Grandparenthood in Maine

I have been somewhat absent over the last few days.
I have been reading here and moderating as necessary.
Not posting much because I am using the iPad and iPhone and typing on those frustrate me.

We are in York Maine hanging with our grandkids ages 2 and 3 (and son and dil )

I cannot say how much I enjoy these 2 little guys............they are wonderful, funny, fresh, brilliant etc.
The negative is they do not sleep late and do not nap. They are asleep by 7 pm and up at 5 am. No naps in between.
Needless to say, Paul and I are exhausted.

We also were in Oakland and Waterville Maine a few days ago at my niece's high school graduation.
That too was exhausting and fun. Way too much food and wine. I am still detoxing.

We are here for another few days.
Our son heads out for a 4 month Navy Deployment in August, so I am sure that we will be back to help our DIL with the boys.

    I need a nap!

Enjoy your stay Andrea. I hope the weather warms up soon for you. It was kind of chilly here today.

We are going to Boothbay Harbor for the 4th. Lovely state, although we have never 'enjoyed" the Winter there

Thanks to your son for serving our country. You guys must be very proud.
We have 2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter on the way. What a treat when you get older to have little devils to keep you young and running.
