An inequality finally made right!

I never know when or how my brain deems seemingly unimportant things worthy of a comment, but here is a thought for today; and made even better because the weekend is here. Stay with me.

The premise to this is simple: A hotdog is one wiener inside one bun. Don't bother with double-dogs, and exotic toppings. Those are topics for another day. One wiener, one bun. Got it?

So why is it that wieners are sold in packages of 10, while hotdog buns are sold in packages of 8? Drives hotdog lovers like me nuts!

Apparently, Heinz and Wonderbread have finally agreed that buns will, from now on, be sold in packages of 10. So, 10 wieners, 10 buns. An inequality finally made right.

Walt, you are absolutely right-on. Ketchup (or catsup, or however you spell it it) has its place, but not on a hotdog. I could be wrong, but to emphasize this point I think Clint Eastwood shot a guy for putting ketchup on a hotdog. (One of the Dirty Harry movies.)

A hotdog is; a wiener on a bun with just mustard. Anything else put on it is an unwelcome distraction.

We only but the split top hot dog rolls; you can grill the sides, omg so yummy.
