We typically spend Labor Day weekend getting outdoor things finished before the weather turns. That worked for Friday and Saturday. Today, Monday, it has been raining non stop. After mid September, that’s the way it’ll be. Just started ahead of schedule.

That $8.99 a pound for lobster sounds pretty good to me.

The rain we were expecting today is now coming tomorrow, so I made the mistake of going to the mall today. Waiting for our son to get home which should be around dinner time so I still don't know if we are BBQing or going out.

Not to be a debbie downer, but I'll be in my PJs on the couch for about the 6th day in a row recovering from a viral infection and conjunctivitis. Took me down like a ton of bricks and I've never had conjunctivitis before - and NEVER want it again! Felt like I brought all the sand on Eagle Beach back with me! Eyes are 95% better and am really just completely exhausted with coughing and post-nasal drip. Back to work tomorrow but may not make it through a full day. What a way to end the summer! LOL!

I taught for 30 years and could spot pink eye it a mile away and pretty much avoided. I think I had it once. Then last year, I woke up with it one day. SMH

Lisa, feel better soon... it's a real bummer that you're down for a bit. Regarding 'ending summer'..... hold on to that last margarita .... we still have over 2 weeks of official summer left!
