We arrived by 11:00 am after an easy drive and light traffic.
Mohegan is massive and very Vegas like. All the staff we had encounters with have been wonderful, especially when I got in the wrong lane for the hotel valet!! Tom had a bouquet of flowers sent to the room which was thoughtful and appreciated. Then we headed down to the casino. It was busy and so nice that the entire resort is nonsmoking! Our dinner at Ballo was amazing. Everything from the food to the atmosphere and service was perfect. After our meal we were both so full we decided to just come back to the room to relax.
So very thoughtful of Tom to send flowers! Glad you enjoyed dinner. Sounds like an amazing first day. How long will you be there? Enjoy every moment!
We’re here until Wednesday. There seems to be plenty to see. I haven’t checked out any of the stores yet and I want to get to the pool for a bit. The poker room here is huge and I’m sure Tom will head there for a bit tomorrow.
