I'm the same way Chuck. I like my jalapeno and serrano peppers, and most hot sauces that have a good taste, the heat doesn't bother me, but I get picky over taste. And I love Coleman's mustard, Chinese mustard and wasabi.

All this talk of hot foods started cravings. I have chili in the crock pot for tomorrow and I am making Keshi Yena tonight.

I hope my stomach will handle it.

The one thing that has helped me with this whole stay at home thing has been cooking. I miss going out to lunch so I’ve been experimenting more with dishes I have never made. The Keshi Yena could just be on my to try list. I’ve also been baking more now that I have been able to get flour.

My favorite dish so far has been king crab and scallop cakes. The scallops really elevated a typical crab cake.

Since 1980, and throughout the many changes, we still love going downtown in Oranjestad.

It's a Portuguese soup, made with a beef base or broth,
Start with a ham bone (till ham falls off)
red potatoes, kidney bean, two types of Portuguese sausage (linguica & chirizo ) dice tomatoe and fresh kale.
Add the secret "hot" to taste lol
Think i need to make this.
