we were always afraid that she would die when we weren't home.
we were glad that she was not alone.

I am so sorry, Andrea. I still haven't gotten over my babies. She has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. And she lived a very fortunate life to have been in your arms.

So sorry, Andrea. Years ago, we had to put down our beautiful golden retriever the same week that we were going on vacation. We were heartbroken. I know that this trip isn't going to be easy. I hope that you can find some moments of enjoyment, and some peace, knowing that she isn't suffering.

Its like a family member dies when you loos a pet. We are so sorry for your loss. Our pug, Buddy passed 6 years ago while I was at work. I asked to leave early to help out with situation at home and was told by my employer" its just a dog". Needless to say the end came quick from that job. We still talk about that jerk to this day. We cremated Buddy and Susan wears a silver necklace with Buddy close to her heart alot.
    Please accept our condolences.
    Sean and Susan

My deepest sympathy. I know fully how a pet becomes a member of the family. They are not a dog or a cat, but they are family. You were fortunate to have her for a long time and she will always be in your heart.
