New developments will continue to arise as more and more people are vaccinated. We're still so early in the process, so it makes sense. Thanks for sharing.

Since 1980, and throughout the many changes, we still love going downtown in Oranjestad.

    Good morning everyone,

Hidden among the angst, fear, uncertainty and finger-pointing about COVID-19, we find examples of kindness and cooperation which restores our faith in people and governments, however briefly.

In this part of North America, the province of Manitoba and the state of North Dakota are cooperating on a cross-border vaccination program. One of the few types of essential workers who can still cross the border at land crossings are long-distance truck drivers. North Dakota is providing COVID-19 vaccinations to all Manitoba-based truck drivers. These guys (mostly guys) bring us everything from produce, machines and machine parts and yes, toilet paper.

Heading south, trucks carry lumber, livestock, car parts etc.

Many thanks from this Canadian to the United States and to the state of North Dakota in particular.

I got my vaccination yesterday afternoon. No after-effects today other than a minor sore at the injection site.

    Second
No wonder people get mad a seniors.

Our province's vaccination authority is reminding everyone to show up no earlier than 15 minutes before their vaccination appointment to avoid congestion at the site. Sure enough, many show up an hour early.

And, they never have their paperwork filled out.

Those are my observations from yesterday.

    LOL! Oh, Canada...

My SIL had her first shot today in Ontario. She is 67 and has medical issues. She can't get the next one for 4 months.

Second shot done! Stu is opting to go later today because there is a car show. The show is less than 2 miles from the mega center but he doesn’t want to drive the car after getting vaccinated. I’m sitting by the car. Told him to my suv and just go and get the shot. He’d rather drive home 40 minutes and then drive back in a regular car. SMH.

The mass vaccine clinics down here have done approximately 3000 people so far (per Fresh FM and the Dutch Neighbour).

Happy to say neither of us had much a reaction to our second shot other than sore arms and a little more tired than usual.

Great news, Robin! I must say, Aruba Forum followers are doing stupendously (I love that word!) with vaccinations! So proud of you all!
