A and P mini get away cruise

I will be brief as I am typing on the iPad and if you thought my typos were bad on a laptop, this is even worse.

We got a real good deal on Carnival Paradise because Cuba is now cancelled from their itineraries, so they had to fill the ship.........we got the deal of a lifetime. $50 pp, free drinks, $100 each onboard credit........including tax and tips our cruise was a little less than $300 for us, combined, not each. 5 night cruise.........cozumel and caymans. We are staying on the ship as we have no desire to see either.......although we did consider Sting Ray City in Grand Cayman.

    Weather is good, HOT.
    Our cabin is ok too.
The food is excellent and we have no complaints.

LOTS of people onboard. The pool today looked like a large bowl of "people soup"...........it was kind of disgusting.
I will take a photo of people soup and post it later.

Paul and I got our pool time early before the crowds and then retreated to the shade.

    That's it in a nutshell.

    We are home on Thursday.

Awesome price! Thanks for sharing, we're all so hungry for a trip report, I started to post one about our trip to the dump (we're remodeling a bathroom). Have fun and enjoy!

Wow what a price! I think I spend almost 300 at home in 5 days when you account for food, gas etc....I think it would be cheaper to "live" on the boat at those rates....enjoy it!

    We were on the fence.
It would have involved 2 boat rides. Tender to the dock and then bus/van to another dock and a smaller boat to the sting ray place. I do not like the tenders and get a bit nauseated and the timing was short. I did not want to rush but they kept reminding us that our time management was important. In cayman from 8 til 2 and the tour was 11 to 1:30. Seemed to us it would be too much rushing. So we r still poolside on pre lunch ice cream. Thinking of a nap . Peg there are 12 88 fortune machines on board. I hit for $422 last night but only cashed out $200. Tonight another try. Casino onboard makes the Alhambra seem smoke free. Aside from the smoke it is a nice ship.
