We are HOME!
The seas were not as smooth as I had hoped, but now that I wear the acupressure wrist bands for motion sickness at least I am not sick.
Last night in bed we were kind of pitching back and forth. It was slight but was noticeable. Paul kept tapping me and said "did you feel that?"
By 4 am I was a bit tired of "do you feel that"
Overall, the best food that we have had on any cruise line over the years.
2 nights we ate in the steakhouse and I had filet each time and Paul had lamb and all was just delicious.
The 2nd and 3rd nights we ate in the main dining room, Paul had filet and short ribs, I had lasagna and sushi.
Casino was ungenerous, and SMOKY.
I went thru a lot of hand sanitizer, wore a mask and wiped down every machine with the wipes provided.
We never found out what caused the delays and the missed port, but the rumor was that it was "scheduled maintenance"
We found the pools cold but tolerable.
The ship's shops were ok, and my chocolate diamond earrings were unavailable.
All in all a good time...........Lily and Tobey were glad to welcome us home.
I "rested my eyes" this afternoon at 1 and woke up at 3:00! Wow.
Now for Aruba planning for June!
