I have the same hatred towards Allegiant and Frontier.
I do not think that I ever flew Spirit......I may have flown them to Atlantic City.

I have a flight booked to Portland ME for $60 r/t on Frontier.
Added in the seat choosing and it came to $102 r/t.
I really hate Frontier, but I do like their prices even with the add ons.

I used from AC to my lauderdale/west palm trips - Very inconsistent from airport to airport with luggage weights - everything is an extra charge even a cup of coffee. Flights seems cheap but after you get your flight, pay for baggage and then pre-pay to pick out seats its comes to be same. Did I mention I hate spirit???

AC airport is great because it is so small, but I agree, Spirit out of there to any FL is awful. We flew on Spirit years ago to FL and it wasn't great. Hubby used it about 2 years ago to go to Orlando to see a client. He is much less picky than I am and he said not again. PHL might be a 20 minutes further for us, and AA isn't great, but it sure beats Spirit.

Yes I love the AC airport, park walk in - nice and easy wish they got a few other airlines in there lol. I live smack in the middle of Newark and Philly airports so I have options. I heard Frontier out of Trenton is pretty good - they have flights going to west palm and lauderdale that I will look into next time. Did I mention earlier that I hated spirit? lol
